Catrina had no idea where she was running; she just knew she had to be out of that office. She had felt her anger rising inside, and had been afraid of what she would have done to the Prince had she not fled. She fled through Seaside Town, blind to the other denizens of the town, some of which she just barely avoided crashing into. When she finally realized where she was going, she was in a small park that she had found on the Right Side of the Tracks. A nice place, with trees and grass and none of the hullabaloo of the rest of Seaside town, but that was in the back of her mind, covered deeply in sulk. She sat at the base of one of the larger trees, sitting with her knees pulled up into her chest, her arms wrapped around them, rocking easily as she stared off into space, unseeing. Feena saw her friend as she raced through town, waving and calling out to her. When Catrina did not respond but kept on going at full sped, Feena followed, wondering what could be so important to cause her feline friend to run like that. She found her in the park, and quietly padded up behind Catrina, draping her arms softly around the lioness' shoulders, giving her a very friendly nuzzle. “Heya, buddy. What'cha doin' out here?” Catrina stiffened, and Feena could feel what felt like a sob racing through her friend. ‘Y-you shouldn’t be near me...” “Oh please... Like I'm terribly worried about that, you're the one what saved me. Well, you and Dash, but that's not the real problem." Feena continued to nuzzle her friend, holding her softly. Catrina moved away, forcing Feena to break her cuddle. “You don't understand.... “ "What's to understand? I've got a feline who needs my consolation, a huntress who saved me once from her own predation and once from someone who beat the living tar outta me." Feena placed her palm back on Catrina's shoulder, trying to console her dear friend, "If Dash hurt ya again, I'll just go smack him around with my frying pan later." "They...they think it's all a lie. They...oh Goddess...they think I don't love him...." This time the sob was obvious. "Who doesn't? I know you love that rogue, and I can smell it too." Feena smirked a little at the obvious scent. "And why would you have any other reason to not?" "The...the Prince. They...he thinks it's all an act...he thinks I-I'm just...' She couldn't even finish the sentence. "Just what? A savage beast like that bastard that beat the crap out of me? You're far from that, you're more loyal to us than anyone else. I'd sooner trust you with my life than anyone else." Feena softly purred for her friend, or at least tried to. Bunnies certainly were not meant to purr, so naturally, Feena's sounded like a choked murr. Catrina couldn't help but to grin with her friend’s attempt, but when she responded it made it seem that much more forced. "It's all an act. I'm just biding my time. Watching all of you...getting your defenses down." "Catrina! Did you just make a joke?" The bunny playfully struck Catrina's shoulder, then pulled her into a soft hug. "C'mon, we ought to tell Dash this one." Catrina started to accept the hug, but stiffened as she heard his name. "No... I can't be near Dash, not now- not when they need him so badly. If I'm with him, they can't trust him, because they don't trust me. It would be better for everyone if I just disappeared." "No, Catrina, you can't. We all need you, myself especially." Feena choked back a moment. "I can't handle war... I need a warrior at my back to protect me, and you're the best there is. You know my wand is always ready... I'll always be here for you too." Catrina smiled softly. "Don't sell your self short, love. Who was it who kept the worst of the attackers occupied until he could be dealt with?" "Catrina, I didn't fight him directly... I ran. I kept running until I could find an open shot... I needed a distraction, which Fluffy was. I couldn't have done it myself. I'm stronger magically, but not physically. I need you, Cat" Catrina laughed a bit. "Sometimes the warrior's job is to hold back the inevitable while the magicians charge up something devastating. And you must have done pretty good hon. - You got the King's attention. you and that sexy outfit." "I only helped fend off an invading force and helped rescue Toot. The outfit's new. I didn't do all of it myself, I can't take all that credit" "mmhmm...And what of the Toot? When he needed someone to end the battle, who did he go to?" Catrina purred, her funk forgotten as she talked of her friend. "You are going to be one hell of a Pastamancer, hon. You'll make all that face you drool..." She stroked the band of cloth that covered her bosom, going straight down her cleavage. "... and then you'll blow them away with your spells." The bunny stuttered, trying to come up with an excuse. The only thing that crossed her lips was an embarrassed, "You think so?" Catrina grinned. "About your spells? We've all seen what happens when you dig deep now...what'll it be like when you don't have to dig anymore?" She stroked that same line again. "And as for you being a sexy bunny....well, let's just say I'm wondering how hard it is to take this off and put it back on again...."
