Mission: MEET THE COUNCIL Roleplay subtitle: Four Heroes: Who's going where? Dash, Catrina, and Riko/ Feena Original Roleplay
This one's split into three separate parts, as you'll see- and we'll get a little look into a couple of the Elite 7 missions, as well as hints of.. a future surprise. Finally, we'll have Feena meeting her mysterious new love interest.
As far as mission related happenings, all that really happens is four characters pick which missions they're going off on, and two set out on their mission. No fights, no huge plot twists, other than the heroes choosing. But the whole thing is packed with character development, humor, and at the risk of lack of humility, interesting exchanges between our heroes. Even though the mission didn't get the sheer number of pieces "Enter Hey Daze" got, it still had it's share of well written moments.
There's even a fun little argument in it. Enjoy!

Catrina walked hand in hand with Dash, grinning because he now KNEW how she felt, and she had a pretty good idea of how he felt. She didn't even cringe at the fact that they were back in Seaside town- remembering what happened LAST time she had been happy in the area. They arrived at the Clan hall, going up to the message board that, as always, had a crowd around it. Sure enough- there was the Mission proclamation- and underneath two notes on the mission..no, missions. One neatly written- the other...well, written by a hamster. Feena looked at the two notes, already at the forefront of the pile. She'd been squashed in place, no less, almost stuck before she could get out and underway. Riko looked from a little further back, and quickly made up her mind. She gave Sebastian and Catrina a quick wave and went to join them. "Looks like a couple of milk runs to me. Especially that mosquito larva one. I'm gonna go hit that one, seems like something I should be able to take on." Catrina almost growled. "There is no freakin way in Hey Deze that I'm going to get involved in anything having to do with a bug again! Not after the last time!" "Last two times, you mean?" Dash said with a smile as he read over the boards himself. Riko laughed a bit, and leaned against Catrina. "Well, there is something up in the Misspelled Crypt, or so it seems. I think Feena was about to head there, except she's rather stuck at the front of the crowd." Catrina grinned evily. "I'll fix that." She then proceeded to apply claws to strategically placed cheeks until a path opened up magically to Feena. Feena finally made her way out of the crowd, looking a little relieved as she gave both her two best friends a big hug. "Thanks, Cat. I needed that save. Hell, I was just about to head off on my own until the clan decided to check the board all at once." Riko smiled a moment. "Hey, Sebastian, maybe before I take off on the 'bug hunt,' you could show me around Seaside?" "Wha?" Dash looked over. "Sure thing, Riko. We'll see." Catina looked as Dash accepted Riko's offer. He loves me. She reminded herself that is what he said this morning. But why was a corner of her heart aching? Feena stared at Catrina a moment, then nudged her a bit with her right hind paw. "Hey, which task you taking on?" Catirina smirked, "The one that doesn't see me dealing with mosquito spooge." Feena chuckled cutely and gave her feline buddy a quick grope before taking off. "Gear up then. I'm headed off to the crypt now, and I'm not waiting up. I want that damn bonerdagon offed as fast as I can. Took it out once, and I don't think it wants me around again." Catrina nodded. "I'll be along as soon as I pick up a few things. Save some for me!" Dash looked over at her, giving a shudder. "Bonerdagon, huh? I'm sick of dragons from the Island bit." Feena bolted off, not even pausing to hear Sebastian's comment. Riko, still nearby, stared at her go. "She's certainly energetic." Cat noted, "But he was a NICE dragon! Once you got to know him." Dash shrugged. "He also blinked me out of existence.." She growled lightly. "Because of a curse! Hey, I had to put up with that asshole trying to kill me! You see me whining about it?" Dash tilted his head. "Well- I had to spend time with TheChad and Raw Hide. Both at once." Riko quietly stared, blushing to hear their little spat. "P... Perhaps I best go find myself some supplies, leave you two to your little argument." Catrina opened her mouth for a resoundingly sarcastic remark- then broke down laughing. "Alright, you win." Dash smiled the rogue's smile. "Heh.. that's a first.. So.. I guess I'm gonna get myself that mosquito, then." "Then perhaps Sebastian can meet me someplace after I collect a few supplies?" "Which side of the tracks?" Dash quickly asked, mind already turning. Catrina nodded. "Yeah...and I- I'll go after the dragon. Dash?" Dash nodded. "Go get 'em, Cat. Make me proud, like always!" Riko looked at Sebastian, then Catrina before she spoke again. "Actually, perhaps in front of the clan hall will be the best idea." Cat suddenly pounced Dash- not caring that she knocked him to the ground rather roughly as she kissed him deep and long and passionately, panting as she broke. "Come back- that's all I want you to do." Dash slid his hand along her back, down her tail. "As long as you're waiting, I'd come back from Hey Daze itself.. which, come to think of it..." Dash looked up at Riko. "Oh! Yeah.. gimme about half an hour? Got something to take care of." Riko started off, reaching for her new toy, the very Harp of Aeons she acquired in the previous mission. Catrina giggled. "Can't be me then. I'd take a lot more than a half hour!" Dash peeled himself away from Catrina, a goofy smile on his face. "See ya soon, kitten.. ah.. " He paused, not sure what to add.. "Be careful... I love you, Sebastian ... Dash." Dash smiled. "Same." --------------------------------------------------------------------- Elsewhere... The Jester King of Beasts looked about the place he currently called home, noticing a patch of shadow in a corner. “You can show yourself, little bunny. Not as if your hiding was doing you any good.” Amras emerged from the shadows, stepping toward the JKOB without fear. “Sometimes it is best to travel unseen. Especially when you are about to deceive your employer.” The JKOB brightened. “Ah! So you recovered the little bauble, did you?” “Yes, but I am beginning to doubt the sanity of keeping it here. Especially after seeing its power.” The JKOB nodded, stroking his chin. “True, true. The Sun orb is not to be trifled with by the weak- but it is a powerful focus for magical energies. That is why I asked you to see me before you went to the King with it.” Amras moved closer. “Oh? What- you wish to take it?” He didn’t know whether to be relieved or concerned. “Yes… You see, it’s focusing properties would be perfect for a little… project of mine. A spell I have been gathering the reagents for for some time now. A purrrfect little payback for a certain bitch I know…” He chuckled as he brought down an ebony wood box from a shelf. As he opened the lid Amras could feel the magical energies contained within. “It is almost ready- just a few more ingredients and…” He broke off in maniacal laughter. “Just drop the Orb into the box and see what I brew up! “ Amras dropped the Orb into the box, and he could feel the energies change their flow, influenced by the power of it. The JKOB closed the box and set it back on its shelf. “So, little bunny, after you report your appalling failure, “ he made a long face at Amras, “what do you plan to do?” Amras thought for a second. “I have decided we need to keep a more watchful eye on our enemy. I plan to spend some time attempting an infiltration.” He smirked. The JKOB chuckled. “Soooo.... you've met the little tramp, have you?” Amras fought back a growl at the phrase 'little tramp.' For him to raise their suspicions of other motives would ruin his plans. “Yes, and she seems well suited for my needs.” The JKOB laughed at this. “As long as you’re taking car of the needs of our Employer, get all the goodies out of her you can!” His voice took on a harder edge. “But you forget why you’re pounding the little slut, and I’ll be wearing new bunny slippers!” Amras did growl then as he gathered the shadows about him in order to leave. “Do not worry; I know exactly why I will be ‘pounding the little slut.’" He left quickly and silently, heading for Seaside Town. ------------------------------------------------------- Feena walked at a steady pace, taking more time than she remembered taking to get there. "The hell? I thought the crypt was closer than this..." Feena's walk passed the very darkened forest she returned from earlier, past a rather large oak that leaned and shaded her a brief moment. As she passes the oak she heard a wolf whistle. "Hey, gorgeous. What're you doing in this neck of the woods?" Feena didn't even bother to stop, she just kept walking. Whistles like that did not get her attention, and never would. Amras got to his feet and began to follow Feena, a grin on his face. "So, where ARE you headed this fine day, my love?" Feena stopped after a moment and smirked. She turned on her heel and swatted Amras sharply, then gave him a very passionate kiss afterwards. "First, don't you ever disappear on me like that again. Second, the Misspelled Crypt. I'm gonna take care of a little problem down there." Amras seemed to shiver. "I don't see how you spend so much time around three predators and not lose your cool. But I'm sorry for running out on you like that." He nodded as she told him her mission. "Your bosses just send you to all the beauty spots, don't they. Last time Hey Deze- this time a cemetary.' He thought for a moment, as his paw slipped around her back. "Want some company?" She smiled and wrapped her arms around his waist. "Of course. Maybe I'll get to introduce you to Catrina while we're there." Amras couldn't help but smirk at that. "Catrina...she the one with the voice?" "Yes, that was her. Don't worry, she won't eat you, unless you want her to." Feena grinned broadly before letting him go to walk to the crypt. Amras chuckled, "Are you worried about her eating me? Or me eating her?" "Mmm... maybe a little of both. Hope your monk training makes you effective against these undead airheads. I've been down here before, and well, I could use a bit of muscle to take out the lihces. I can do it with my magic, but it takes a lot out of me." Feena couldn't help but blush, knowing how rough that place was. Amras moved behind her, his arms around her as he nuzzzled the back of her neck. "You've go a body that could get a raise out of the ... I mean raise the dead yourself. Don't fool with it too much." She smirked at his comment. "I dun think they'd want a piece of me like that. They seemed more interested in taking piece OUT of me last time I came down and whomped the bonerdagon. I find it hard to believe it got back up." Amras shrugged, still nuzzling her neck, licking at her long bunny ears. "Takes special magic to kill off a strong demon like him. Even I don't have that skill. Although I have lots of other skills...." He took a moment to grope her through her sashes. Feena gave a soft little moan, then pulled Amras right down to the ground, kissing him even more passionately. The scene faded to black for a little while...
So now that we know who's going where, we can really dig into the story! Next up, a melancholic Sebastian keeps up his promise to give Riko a tour of Seaside Town, then it's time for Raw Hide to get into the game, and after that, we'll be back to Catrina and Feena!
