Mission: Interim mission: Generic Summer Vacation subtitle: A dance off?! By Dash Original Roleplay
I kept it short and sweet since it was an interim mission.. besides, real life crap kept me tied up from writing it sooner.
It was a kind of random, do whatever mission so I figured I'd just tie it up with a random event.. *Grins!*

Two of the newer additions to the Feline Empire met up through chance coincidence not too far inland from where Dash and company had met up. Sir Fumblies spotted Shamus Xtreme first and greeted him by name. XTreme had no idea who he was. Hasty introductions were given. Shamus was glad to find they were on the same side. "So why are you out here?" Shamus asked. Fortunately, Mimi and Blake were off arguing about something at this point. "Looking for answers," Fumblies replied vaguely. Before Shamus could ask what kind of questions, he asked Shamus, "What about you?" "Those two insisted on us coming back to get some more water wings," Shamus explained. "But we kind of got lost on the way there. By the time we finally got where-ever we thought we were headed, they were sold out." "I had no part in the decision to return here!" Blake insisted. "I want water wings!" Mimi whined. "Then you gotta come with me and my buddies to the big dance off!" That was the unexpected voice of Becky Joy! Where'd she come from?! Aw, who cares? "We do?" Fumblies asked. "And why exactly is that?" "It's run by wizards, like really smart wizards!" Becky waved her arms up. "And you can win lots of things, even swim toys, and stuff! I like stuff. And stuffing!" "Then we must enter!" Mimi proclaimed. "Hm, wizards, that might be why I was sent here," Fumblies said, more to himself. "We'll definitely have to try this." "We're not.." Blake started. "Alright, something I know I'm good at!" Shamus loudly proclaimed. "Not seriously going to.." Blake tried to continue. "Ahhhh!! This is my only chance to ever get water wings again! You better not be asking me to give up my lifelong dream!" Mimi screamed. "That.." Blake paused. "That make so little sense, I can't even make fun of it." "Glad to hear you're in," Fumblies said in a dry voice without humor. Elsewhere, others are already at the scene of the dance competition. Sebastian Dash, Cattaras Whiteclaw, and Becky Joy had just made their way off the boat. "Guess this is where we part ways," Dash said to Becky and Cattaras as the three made their way through the sleepy South of the Border port down. Which was still sleepy even during the most crowded races in the world. Cattaras flashed a predatory smile. "Maybe sooner than you think, meat." "What ya gonna do now, Dashie?!" Becky asked with more affection than Cattaras might have liked to hear. Dash smiled tensely. "I think I might enter the dance competition, actually. It's a big tradition around these parts." "Hmm.. that so?" Cattaras asked, his mind going into gear already. It sounded like an opportunity to make a presence for the Feline Empire far south of strongholds in Degrassi Knoll and the Knobish hillsides. Fate had seemingly brought him here and teamed him and Becky with Dash. This might be an opportunity worth investigating. "I wanna dance!" Becky proclaimed. Cattaras couldn't help but smile. "Than dance we shall." "Yay! We're gonna dance, Mr.. Dash?" Becky looked around and just caught sight of Sebastian Dash vanishing into the crowd in the distance. As he wandered into a familiar set of people, Kadlin Bearsmasher and Vixen emerged from the group and quickly spotted Cattaras and Becky. "Finally, some respectable company," she said, moving to join them. Meanwhile, Dash made his way towards a group more of his ilk. Konall Bearsmasher quickly introduced him to Amras and the werevamp. Aleena and Todd were there as well to greet Dash. Dash quickly explained about the dance competition. "We were thinking of entering that ourselves before we head back for Seaside's big opening," Konall explained. "I plan to thrill ‘em with a couple of traditional Viking dances." "And who'd make a better dancer than a bard?" bragged Todd Blackpaws. He busted a few moves to prove it. "Are you ladies in, then?" Aleena nodded. "It would be an excellent way to familiarize myself with the culture." "Sure, why not?" Fahari nodded, giving her tail a flick. Werevamp just nodded. She wasn't sure about this, but if the others were giving it a shot, she would too. The danceoff itself was quite populated. There were two princesses overseeing the event. The first was from Fairytale-land in the Faraway lands. Princess Delightee. The other, Princess Zeala, was a feisty little number with a quick mouth who hailed from the Albano regions of Adrule, far south of anything Dash had visited during his times to Adrule. The event itself was quite lavish, being populated by the travelling Princess's ball, which had been touring the very world itself, sponsored by over a dozen princesses on a mission to spread goodwill, dance, and fun. There were ten types of awards given out. Despite his fumbling and lack of coordination, Sir Fumblie had one big thing going for him; star power. He was recognized from his stints in "Faraway Land Has Idol Season 3" to impress the judges. He took the top prize; the Grand Winner award. No one knew why Shamus XTreme took the Runner Up award, although Mimi quickly accused him of cheating, stole his trophy, then took credit for his winning anyway. Maybe due to his extensive training as a swordsman, Dash was able to focus the power of Sneaky Pete to earn himself the very next in line. The third highest trophy, Platinum, went to Dash. Although it was so hyperactive it could hardly be called dancing, Becky Joy came in next, much to her incredible delight. Maybe it was the ice "steps" she left in her wake that impressed the judges ever so much. Anyway, she earned herself a nice little Gold trophy. The next award, a Silver trophy, went to both Bearsmasher siblings. After pouring magic and her years of training into her dance, she seemed rather offended to tie with her brother, whom she claimed danced like "a drunken, half dead Yeti. No offense to any drunken, half dead yeti's out there." Konall, meanwhile, was disappointed the award didn't come filled with ale. Meanwhile, the Bronze trophy went to Cattaras Whiteclaw, who quickly claimed it in the name of his "Sister and Queen," Catrina Whiteclaw. (Cattaras really had the moves and dance skills, but seemed rather unpleasant even during his routine.) It might have surprised those that knew her well Aleena's agility didn't carry her higher in the ratings than a Glass trophy. It might have been her lack of familiarity with the world of loathing, or the fact most of her world's traditional dances (at least the ones she chose) were very subdued. Four furries ranked in the next two positions, with Todd Blackpaws tying with Fahari to earn the Wood award, while Vixen tied with the werevamp for the second to last prize, the Consolation award. No indication if it was an anti fur agenda or if they were simply relatively unimpressed by the four (although Cattaras's high placement seemed to suggest the latter). Finally, Armus, despite his deft moves, rounded out the competition and took the Grand Loser award, possibly due to being more interested in flirting with the cute girls than actually impressing the judges. There were hours of recreational dancing, food, booze, soft drinks, and fun after the order of winners and losers were announced, with a very important announcement at the end. The Princess's coalition would be there for the big, grand reopening of Seaside Town, where they promised one of their biggest festivities of all time would be taking place! Sinister forces began moving upon hearing the news.
Short, sweet and to the point! The next mission focuses on those princesses.. it's underway right now.
