Mission: The Six's Sinister Hunt subtitle: (Sorry, but the festering hellhole known as Tappatalks doesn't support- and deletes - all subtitles from topics.) Posted by Wildfall Original co-write
We've seen lots of action in the last few pieces and now, we might be to the highlight of it! Mary Kate and Wildfall continue battling against all odds in this one!

In spite of the dark spots in his eyes and an annoying ringing in his ears, Wildfall could make out the form of Mary Kate on the ground in front of the dwarf. The one who'd started killing Wildfall's bat-hunting group before Wildfall sent them away, figuring he'd rather take the six and a half foot dwarf on alone than risk the lives of the others. Mary wasn't used to being thrown around like a rag-doll and as she got her wits about her, she got angry. "You big jerk of a bully, what do you think you are doing?" "First," the dwarf said, turning to her, "I'm going to kill you, so he has to watch. Then I'm going to kill him, so your ghost can watch." As he started advancing towards Mary, Wildfall panicked and pulled himself to his knees. "Hold up, short, ugly and painful to look at. You and me got a thing to finish first!" The dwarf turned back towards Wildfall. "If you insist, you can die first." "You touch one hair on his head and I'll personally pulverize your sorry ass," Mary yelled at the dwarf as she started advancing on him with her fists doubled. The dwarf raised an eyebrow, almost looking amused, but still pissed off. "Little girl, you need to sit down and be seen and not heard, child." "You lousy piece of worthless dwarf dung, how dare you call me a little girl or a child. Don't you EVER tell me to sit down, be seen and not heard." Mary was fuming by now and continued, "I'll talk anytime I dang well please and you can't stop me." With that being said, Mary started wailing the tar out of the dwarf, remembering the beating she gave Ratsworth. At the last second, she had to try to pull one of her punches short - the dwarf had moved his pickaxe directly in the path of her punches. Even so, her fist connected hard with it. Wildfall stepped in front of her, taking his own shots with his wooden shillelagh, slamming it into the chest, ribs and arms of the dwarf. "Lemme take over honey!" Wildfall yelled to her. "Fall back!" Mary reluctantly did as she was ordered while shaking the pain out of her hand and fuming even more. "Fine, go get yourself killed on the pretext of protecting me. I'll just stand back and pick up the pieces when you're laying on the ground dying." Between striking at the dwarf, Wildfall desperately called out, "I'll.. be fine!! Urgh.. go down, dammit. You won't have to pick up anything, honey! I... awwww, crap." That was the reaction as the dwarf suddenly grabbed Wildfall's solid oak weapon out of his hand and flung it into the distance behind him. Frowning, Wildfall half turned to Mary. "Um.. can you go pick that up, honey?" Before Mary could get to the shillelagh, a group of elves appeared at the site the weapon had landed. Suddenly a little image appeared at the head of the group, picking up the weapon and calling to the band of elves, "Come on, let's get them off my friends." Mary looked up shocked to see their friends, Gem and Mole, among the elves. "Gem, Mole, where did you guys come from? Be careful, don't want you hurt. He is one bad assed dude." Gem started to tell Mary her amazing story. "You'll never believe what we have been thru lately ." Gem suddenly was rudely interrupted as yet another big figure appeared on the scene, attacking the group. "I'll have to finish my story later after we take care of these bullies," Gem yelled to Mary. The temperature around the new figure- the winged yeti- started rapidly becoming cooler and cooler. Wildfall again attacked the dwarf, Shorty, from behind, only to be flung aside. Meanwhile, the yeti roared, causing icy winds to pick up around him. Powerful gusts of frigid air slammed into the elves, causing many of them to stumble and even be taken off their feet. Mary, seeing that Wildfall was being batted around by the dwarf and that Gem was rushing to his aid, rushed to help the fallen elves. Trying to rally the elves, Mary motioned for Diana and her friends to move in behind the yeti while Gem climbed on the back of Shorty and started choking him with the shillelagh. Shorty tried to grab the shillelagh from Gem's hands but Wildfall grabbed the other side, pushing it into his throat harder. Seeing the dilemma that the elves were in with fighting the ice magic of the yeti, she tried to organize a battle front that the elves could use against him. Grabbing anything that looked like a shield, she motioned to the elves to follow behind her and as they got close to the yeti's feet, she yelled, "Circle around behind him while I keep him busy. Try to attack his wings before he can throw anymore of his ice magic at us." Groar lashed out, swinging his limbs and wings but the elves hit him from every direction they could, with two of the smaller elves (in traditional South of the border festive masks) even jumping off a nearby building and landing on his wings. Suddenly, the winged yeti found himself covered in Crimbo Elves while Mary Kate tried to lead the yeti, with the elves still on his back, to an empty tent where Diana and her friends were waiting. The yeti suddenly threw his wings out, straightening up and throwing the elves off of his back. He then rushed towards Mary but she was already moving. Mary ducked into the tent, followed by the yeti where Diana and her friends managed to trip him, causing the yeti to go down on one knee. Mary yelled, "Drop the net NOW!" The yeti was taken down by the weight of the net, while the elves scrambled on top of the net and the yeti's back. "We've got him now!" Mary yelled. "Attack him with everything you have." With the yeti trapped by the net, he was easy pray for the elves to beat down. Meanwhile, Gem turned towards Mary and said, "So anyway, I have the most unbelievable story about how we found Mole! You won't believe..." Wildfall jumped back between the two. "Hate to interrupt, but Shorty here's still fighting." "Yea I guess we should go help Wildfall and pull his arse out of the fire yet once again," Mary said with a snicker. Wildfall hmph'ed. "I'm standing right here, ya know. I can hear you." "Yep I can see you and I intended for you to hear that," Mary replied. Mole picked up a handful of sand and flung it into the dwarf's face and yelled, "I suggest we all run like the wind." "I'm good with that," Wildfall said with a smirk. Mary looked around and said, "As much as I hate running from a good fight, I agree that we make like a tree and leave as fast as possible." And indeed, the elves and the others were out of sight in minutes.
I definitely think we painted a threat with the yeti and his sidekick here, huh? We've got a different kind of action up next, also with Mary Kate and Wildfall, so dig in.
