Whooohoo!! Time for Raw Hide, baby!

One of the cool things about AIL is you can use it to express yourself about anyway you want, although some ways work better than others.

This is a unique roleplay. I'd call it entertaining, if odd. I would have preferred if it was the backup piece to a main Raw Hide story, but I'm glad to have around for the mission in some format.. since I needed to make use of him for the Finale, anyway.

"We didn't start the fire!"
"Well then who did?" I always hated dealing with these townsfolk. They never know what is going on. They keep saying the same thing over and over its useless and redundant. Well sometimes you get distracted by their idiocy and don't notice people sneaking up on you.
"Turn yourself around like a record." I heard this as a knife slid across my throat just barely drawing blood.
"Right round, huh?"
"Yeah, baby, you got it." I recognized the voice. But, it couldn't be. It was the wrong time of year. The poachers would be running rampant. As I turned around I was confronted by a face I hadn't seen in years.
It was my Uncle Jim. Wait. No, it was Calador's Uncle. I left that life long ago in a fit of bloodlust. In that instance everything I believed in came rushing back to me. It was like I was Calador, mighty PALADIN member. It took everything I could to quell those feelings.
"Do you remember who I am, boy?" said Jim
"It was so long ago, but its all coming back to me now."
"Well?" he said.
"Well what?"
"Why did you do it? Why did you become my little runaway. Your mother's world went black. It was like a total eclipse of the heart for her."
"Are you off your rocker? I slaughtered damn near every person in the camp. They would have lynched me for sure. I got the hell out while I could. I put it all past me. I gave up protecting the weak and started serving myself instead. I became powerful and important. And you come here to make me feel guilty for leaving my mother? You're mad."
"No, I'm your Uncle," he lowered his blade and sheathed it and extended his arms. "Give me a hug."
"I don't remember you being that kind of uncle. Touch me and I'll rock you like a hurricane."
"Well then, laddy, Hit me with your best shot." He always was a cocky SOB. That's how he got that scar on his shoulder. So I took a good swing at him and missed as he dodged to the side.
"You can't touch this. You don't do well under pressure?" He was goading me and I knew this. So I took another swing.
"Anything you can do I can do better." I punctuated that sentence with a solid punch to his abs.
"Looks like the right stuff to me. We want you home. We can forget all that you've done. Your family just wants to see you home again."
"Sorry, Uncle Jim, the world doesn't work that way. I'm Raw Hide now. I'm a member of KOKOL. I'm actually in the middle of trying to save this city. In case you didn't notice, goblins are ransacking and pillaging and such. There is kind of a fire everywhere you look, and a evil dragon was circling just a bit ago."
"Oh I know. That's actually why we've come."
"What do you mean 'we'?"
"Well, your camp might be dead. But mine is probably gonna be coming over the mountains soon. You see we heard about the business between you and the goblins. Thought we might be able to help. You see, as you know, we hate goblins too. They kill anything and everything. So, we came to beat back some goblins. Finding you is a bonus."
"Great, we need the help. The goblins are holed up in -"
"No, no, no. We got about 20 PALADINs coming over. We could turn the tide of this battle. You were the best of us, we need you back. Your mum needs you back. I want you back."
"Okay then, I come back to PALADIN, you help us out with the goblins. Is that it?"
"B-I-N-G-O."
"Well then, I guess the boys are back." I crossed my fingers. It ought to be fun to see how it goes.

Then, we'll get into the meat of the Mountaincenter Village story and see Shamus's big fight before wrapping this mission up!
