Seaside Town: The Burning (ran by Dash and Catrina)

At this point, there had been eight full missions in addition to the sample mission, making this the tenth ever AIL mission, as you can tell from the URL on the archive website of this page.

The Live Roleplay concept debut during the last mission, and is used to full potential here, with this mission featuring six Live RP's! There were a few that were unspectacular, but there were also some very good stories told through them. As I write this, we're only a few weeks into roleplaying for the next mission, so it's hard to say at this point if anyone is making their last appearance in AIL for the near future in "The burning."

I do know we saw some debuts here. We also saw Crabjesus make his only AIL appearance thanks to our first Live RP of the mission. There were also several exciting fights against the KOKOL, in addition to two "side quests" into other worlds. Crabjesus makes his long awaited AIL debut via Live RP, and he's joined by three all new player characters to AIL lore! This also sets up the first ever Season Finale for AIL!

Feature characters: Catrina Whiteclaw. During the mission, Catrina has multiple fights with Elite 7 members (notably with her estranged brother Cattaras), allegedly has her drawlers ruffled through (no not like that!), meets an alternate universe version of herself, and goes through emotional turmoil involving her own darker half, Sebastian Dash, the mirror version of Dash, and most notably, King MTiger. Then she has a life altering moment in the Finale itself. *Phew!*
Konall Bearsmasher shows that Viking determination of his, or is it stubbornness? Like Catrina, he is sent to an alternate universe, although it's more '8 bit' than 'mirror.' He also spends a good deal trying to help fight off both the fire and the Elite 7. He continues to dominate the category of witty one liners, too.
Kadlin Bearsmasher faces the temptations of evil, and fights actual evil in several incarnations, either at the side of Becky Joy or her brother Konall, or with a small KOKOL army.
Shamus XTreme only has one adventure, but it's consistently entertaining, and has some interesting, bad ass twists in it. He also faces a tough choice of his own at the very end...
Sebastian Dash manages to stay strong throughout the entire battle, fighting alongside KOKOL, Catrina, Vixen and Lapine. Dash also runs into his very literal 'dark half.'
Sir Fumblies Falanges debuts this mission during Konall & Friends' trip to the 8-bit dimension, and later returns to fight ninjas, allowing him to score the most points of the 4 AIL "debuts" this mission.
Maximal Thordicus made his debut during the biggest segment in AIL history (possibly including the Finale) and despite sharing the scene with another debut and three very strong characters, he managed to steal the show! Not bad. He's an interesting character from the go.
Lapine and Vixen are mostly together for this one, and accompany Dash on the involuntary trip to the mysterious Mountaincenter Village where they fight some.. interesting competition. Vixen also does a little undercover work when Lapine ends up kidnapped!
