(CROSSOVER) Becky and Gail fight with ....
Mission:  End of the Heroic Age: Fallout
subtitle: and against each other!

By Becky and Gail!
Original Roleplay

So after a darker, more serious start, we got lighter take on things on the forth piece in with Shadow and Konall, we've got the first of two co writes between Gail (Awakensun) and Becky!

They're two of AIL's sillier, more nonsensical characters, though they also pack a magical punch. Gail has her wind magic, while Becky masters pure ice magic.

Chronological Note: this takes place before any other of Becky's appearances in other roleplays!

Seaside Town would be a lonely place right now if not for the rampaging hordes of zombies wondering around, and those aren't exactly the kind of thing you'd thirst to be in the company of.

The grass and flowerbeds outside the town were tramped from hundreds, maybe thousands, of the former Seaside Town residents being escorted out of town. Not long ago, it had been the sight of massive fighting between the Knob Goblin Empire and the Kingdom of KOL. For reasons seen at the start of the story, the massive Knob Goblin army reversed its direction and headed instead towards Degrassi Knoll.

A lone hippie from a strange, faraway land wondered the barren ground outside of Seaside Town. She looked down at the trampled grass and flowers outside the town and became angry. She did not become angry because all the people had to flee their homes, no, she was angry at the atrocities that made the people leave their homes in the first place. She called Beanie to her side to go see if there are people trapped or hurt. She had been with Kokol forces until she felt it was safe enough for her to venture out into the mostly deserted city. She used her wind magic to keep the fire at bay, and later the zombies if they got too close to her.

She suddenly heard a small girl screaming for help from nearby! Gail ran over to see what was happening to the poor child. Three zombies were circling her. They turned and spotted the hippie, who raised her wind staff. Before she could attack, one of the zombies hurled itself at her, knocking her to the ground. It's faster than I thought! she thought to herself. She used her wind magic trying to get back on her feet. The zombie rushed forward, but a blast of frigid air caught it and froze it solid. She looked over to see another woman her age, although one that bounced, moved, talked and possibly thought more like a child than most her age.

Becky forgot all about the zombies and waved to her. "Hiii, I remember you! You're um.. you're um.. Hi! I'm Becky Joy!"

"Hi! My name is Gail." Gail said as she stood up and ran over and hugged Becky. Becky instantly held her nose, giggled, and went "Ewww stinky!" Gail released Becky from the hug as she grabbed her wind staff and blasted a zombie with some wind. Becky blasted the final zombie with an ice torrent, although it leaped up over it, shoving her aside. Gail tried to hit it with her wind magic to now avail; it was just moving too fast! The two altered attacks, but it wasn't until they started working together that they were able to catch it, midair. It dodged Becky's ice storm, only to have Gail's wind attack blow it right back into the storm. As icicles started to form on the zombie's rugged body, Gail's wind blast slammed it into the wall. Its body went limp. Gail looked around to see if any of the zombies were getting up. "There are three less zombies to worry about now."

"Yay!" Becky jumped up and clapped! "If we took out two more that'd be.." She stopped to think. "Five more zombies! I mean.. five less zombies!"

"Don't you mean two more zombies? I mean less? I am so confused!"

Becky danced around in a happy circle. "We'll have five zombies! That's this many!" she held up five fingers.. um.. yeah.

Gail looked around the room, counting. She sat down and started counting with her toes.

"Wait, we don't need zombies," Becky said! "We can just go get living Knob Goblins now!"

"What? I thought they were the bad guys!"

"Yeah, we're gonna be evil!" Becky said, hugging Gail and covering her nose. "It'll be so cool!"

Gail pushed Becky away and said, "Is this some kind of joke?"

"Hey don't push me!" Becky pushed back. "Nope, we're joinin the Knob Goblins right now cause Kadlin said we were gonna!"

"And if this Kadlin says to jump off a cliff, would you do that too?" Wind swirled around Gail, looking like a tornado as she stepped forward to get in Becky's face.

Becky crossed her arms over her chest and pouted. "Shut up! Kadlin wouldn't say anything like that cause she likes me and we're really friends and stuff!" She summoned up a big snowball and threw it at Gail.

Gail blew the snowball away with her wind magic, only to make there be a snowstorm. "Nasty gross wet stuff! And its cold."

"It is not gross and you suck!" Becky slapped Gail right across the face!

Gail started crying. "You big meanie!" Gail slapped her back!

Becky started crying. "Well, I don't care I'm leaving!"

"How can you say that, I thought we were friends!"

Becky pouted and cried, "But you slapped me!"

"You slapped me first! I can't believe you are evil!" Gail said, still crying.

Becky was still crying too. "Well maybe if you don't like me, I'll just go and I'll have new friends and we'll eat chocolate and you won't get any!"

"I really did think we are friends. You are the first person I connected with since I've gotten to the mainland. I just wish you would think about what you are doing before you jump headfirst into something you might possibly regret."

Becky opened her eyes and blinked. "That's a lotta big words."

"Are we friends? You are the first friend I got." Gail looked very sad.

"I wanna be friends but I gotta join Kadlin," Becky said, frowning. "I don't know why but I gotta!"

"If you don't even know why you have to do something, and do it anyways, isn't that bad?" Gail looked confused.

"Nope, Kadlin's smart!"

"And you are dumb for following a bad guy! If my only friend is a bad guy, I think I will do without friends!"

"But you can join and we'll be best buddies!" Becky grabbed her hand. "Plllease? It'd be really nice of you, and Kadlin said we're gonna help a lot of people."

Gail pulled her arm away. "These people here need someone to protect them from zombies, and that person is me. Go back to your friends. I am needed here."

"I wanna help with the zombies.." Becky pouted and ran away. "Okay, bye new best friend, I'm gonna go make new friends and we'll come save you!"

"Bye new best friend!"

Becky skipped off into the distance, thinking about how hard it would be still having all her friends on KOKOL even though she was gonna make new Knob Goblin friends. Unless they all hated her. But Kadlin promised this was the best idea ever, so Becky just had to believe her.

Kadlin was so smart.

Gail looked around and doesn't see Becky anywhere. Gail yelled, "Becky, Becky! I'm sorry! Please come back! I miss you! BECKY!" Gail ran around looking for Becky. After awhile Gail realized she was alone. Gail found a cranny to hide in. She sat there with her legs to her chest as she cried. She was very tired and fell asleep right there in the cranny.

A sillier story, for sure. The story has another part later in the mission, after we get to enjoy a couple Bearsmasher tales. Before that, let's check in with Sir Fumblies.

A little backstory. As I mentioned elsewhere, the Live RP concept, using pen and paper type roleplaying and turning it into a story, was something that came from me (Dash/ Becky) talking to Cameron (Konall/ Kadlin). Catrina and I played a similar game he ran based on the Supernatural series. After that more or less ran its course, we were able to get a couple Supernatural players to join AiL for a while. One ran Shadow, while another controlled Awakensun.

We have yet to replicate a Live Rp with all four of us in it, though. I hope if we do, we’re able to fit a clever supernatural style story into it as homage to the game that we first did together.
