Mission: 10 Scenarios subtitle: Jen, Cattaras, Catrina Posted by Space Elf Jen Original co-write
Here's another classic from Aleena and Mitch, with this one featuring both feline siblings as well as Aleena's other space elf, Jen!
(Meaning, the handler Aleena's other elf.)
It's rather spicey, but nothing too naughty. At least, not in this one.

Catrina watched the monk as she headed off toward her quarters onboard Captain Morgan's vessel. "She is a pretty one- don't you agree, Brother?" Cattaras' tail twitched. He knew that tone of voice! "'Trina, she's just a friend. Besides she's already got someone." The lioness laughed. "Yes- Fumblies. You know I know he's not that much. I bet if you..." "Hey, it's one of them, what'cha callits... space elves, ain't it? I mean, yarrr." The big tigers gut was suddenly in a knot. Sure he wanted to meet Aleena again- although some of the stuff Dash had been telling him about her position had been hard to swallow. Still... he stopped that line of thought in its tracks- because of Catrina. He wasn't sure what was going to happen when space elf met lioness- but he didn't expect it to be pretty. He turned, grinning goofily- to use Catrina's word for it.. but the smile faded almost at once. It wasn't her- but who it was was... well.. His first problem with describing her was that he still, even after all that time with Aleena, wasn't used to the form fitting suits that her kind wore- and the resulting figure this elf cast was making him fidget. She was striking. Not as beautiful as Aleena, mind you- no one could match that but, well all the tantalizing bumps and curves that the black and red cysuit she wore failed to hide were giving him loincloth problems and he found himself wondering if the lack of light down here would affect her ability to see. He stole a glance at Catrina. She was looking at the elf as well- but her demeanor was different- guarded. If he didn't know how things stood he'd have been worried- Catrina was usually one to pounce first and ask questions after playtime was over. Jen had explored the ship with unbridled wonderment and joy. What a unique experience! The Morlencir net held all the information anyone could ever want to know about sailing; its mechanics, how to sail. Her technology could even let her simulate it in virtual. But actually being aboard such a creaky leaky ship was something else. The smell of the sea, the sounds of its crew at work. When she noticed Cattaras and his personal struggle, her grin widened. Catrina's presence was noted, and it made her tense, but did little to break her spirits. Dash is a trusted friend of the Queen's, and his explanation that her behavior would be different from here on forward would be taken at face value. After a long awkward time Catrina broke the silence. "Does she know you are here?" That broke the spell on Cattaras who smirked. "I'm pretty sure Aleena knows where her crew members are, sis." He then smiled at the elf. "Hey." Jen performed a flourishing curtsey. "Greetings on behalf of the Morlencir. My name is Jen." Cattaras' face screwed up as he worked out that linguistic pretzel, then he smiled. "Nice to see you again. This- " He put his paw on his sister's shoulder- squeezed a bit of tension- "Is my sister Catrina." The elf smiled. "I know about you, Catrina.. I have the memory, of when you tried to kill my Queen." Jen glanced over to Cattaras. "And how you intervened to save her." Cattaras remembered most of their brief meeting. Something she said right there sent a chill through him. "Wait- you have her.. you know about..." His tail flicked wildly. Catrina looked at her brother with.. well it was a mix of emotions there. "Wait.. you mean you and..." "...and Dash. She 's very.. open." Cattaras knew that was the wrong word, especially after Catrina smirked. "I bet after that." "You misunderstand. Cattaras is a very exceptional being. Knowing a galaxy's worth of sentients, few are his peer," Jen said. Cattaras nearly choked. Catrina was starting to have fun with this- too much fun. "I'll bet he is." She gave the elf another looking over- and Cattaras cringed when he heard that voice again. "So, you here to get a look at his exceptionalness?" "I was told you got better," Jen scolded Catrina. Cattaras squeezed his sister's shoulder but smiled at Jen. "She has. This is just regular sister evil. You get used to it." Jen smiled, wanting to get her official business out of the way quickly. "Very well. While Queen Aleena is being recalled, she still feels concern for your world and has sent me to join your efforts." Catrina nodded- that grin still on her face. "I'm sure you'll be a big help, hon. Now- if you excuse me I'm gonna find my cabin and take a cat nap. You two have fun now!" She stretched up to lick Cattaras' cheek and whisper something to him- something that made his tail lash even harder. Then she was off down the corridor. Jen took a seat on one of the benches. "We're getting dispersed amongst the various groups running around the world. A lot is happening all at once, so we're helping co-ordinate, but I'm not entirely sure what you're up to." Cattaras sat next to Jen- painfully aware how short the bench was. "There's this dragon on Mysterious Island. I'm not fully up on what happened but it's supposed to be important- and it's dying. Catrina is its friend." "Mmm, sounds like we'll have our work cut out for us. But until then, I'd like to get to know you better." Jen smiled, stretching herself out purely for the cat's sake. As she did, her suit changed. The red plates vanished, and the black took on a sheen reminiscent of... panther fur. Cattaras groaned as he saw that, knowing she knew what Aleena knew- how that look turned him on. He nuzzled her, getting her scent, purring. "Your place or mine?" Jen giggled, scritching behind Cattaras' ears. Her suit formed a tail that she used to entwine with Cattaras' own. "You are something very special." The elf's voice dropped to a coo. "I really mean it." The big tiger answered with a lusty growl. "I'm sure you know exactly how special I can be." His paws were already roaming her body, not caring that they were in the corridor. Jen giggled. "Your place, you big kitten." He smirked as he stood, and helped her up before kissing her deeply. "Kittens don't do what I want to do to you." ======= Cattaras thought about all that had happened today as his paw stroked down the back of the sleeping space elf to cup her cheek. Perfect end to a not so perfect day. He then smirked and glanced over at the door to his cabin. "We're not doing anything, sis, so you don't need to listen." Catrina padded in, smiling. "Like I'd have to. The two of you were waking the dead in Degrassi." She was dressed for sleeping- which in her case meant not dressed at all. Cattaras took it in for a second before the brother part of his mind shut it away. "Other than checkin' her out what are you doing up?" Cattaras purred. He would have growled a bit but... well he really felt too good to growl. Catrina looked a bit unsure of herself. "um.. Look.. You heard about how they keep in touch- the elves I mean?" Cattaras nodded. "Yeah.. Jen told me a bit when we were restin'. What of it?" She moved closer to the bed, her eyes on Jen's inert form- still looking so much like a feline. "I.. I wonder..." She climbed in bed with them- with Cattaras giving her room- and a look of concern. Just what was she... He smirked as she settled into position, parting the space elf's legs. "I think.. I think I need to send a message to Aleena." She then lowered her head and licked. Far away upon her cruiser, Aleena sat a little straighter in her throne and let out a small gasp. And judging from the look on Jen's face, it was clear the resting elf didn't mind being the messenger.
It's subtle, but I love how perfectly well the dialog here fits the characterization. Both Catrina and Cattaras have been redeemed from being villains, and they were often on the opposite side of each other - but the sibling love still shows without the writers having to resort to simply forgetting the bad times exist.
With Jen being the perfect reminder through her own mistrust. And of course, it's a light, fun, flirty piece, which plays into the strengths of both the space elves and Felines.
We'll sail from this piece into another piece set on the ship before getting to Konall and his new allies.
