Mission: Save That Toot! MISSION INFORMATION This is the out of character mission information on "Save The Toot," as posted by Catrina. Last spoiler warning. ;) Ahhhh, a pretty good mission, which features the epic debut of Feena. However, this mission features the second lowest RP total to date (as of six missions in), offering up only one more official mission than AIL's first ever official mission. That mission also had it's official debuts, of course. Several, in fact. In this mission's defense, there *are* some monster length pieces here. Just like always, especially when Catrina and Dash get together. Below you'll find the standard set of spoiler'ish information- notes on Rollver, RP notes, and of course, the score for everything. ------------- Some of these mission notes are a bit on the long side.. which's unusual, since they're meant to be brief and to the point. They are, however, entertaining in their own right. Again.. this's the second of a two mission set, so it continues directly from the previous mission. ------------- Mission information Posted by: Dash (The following is an epilogue to the Rollover- as mentioned, Blahking [in his Osbron disguise] makes the mission assignments here. The mission, found here, was written by Catrina. Well, I helped her out with it and come up with the idea for this mission.. The writeup here is mine, with a lil help from Cat... )   Osbron cleared his throat for emphasis. "I don't suppose I'll need to reiterate the importance of this mission." No responses, other than Raw Hide clearing his throat, so after the obligatory response, Osbron continued. "Good, since I doubt we'll have much time, anyway. Let's get down to business, shall we?" Dash looked to Catrina, obviously concerned. "Then let's go, Catrina." "Dash, I. . . " Catrina started. "Not so fast!" Osbron interrupted. "Dash, I've an important assignment that's going to need your special touch." Dash shot him an "Are you serious?" look, but it was clear to him Osbron knew what he was talking about. Osbron continued. "I need to understand what we're up against, so I need someone we can trust. We'll all have our jobs to do. This is yours." Although a thousand reasons to protest might have been going through Dash's mind, he simply nodded, turning to Catrina. "Do you know where they went?" Catrina indicated a direction with her claw. "I doubt anything but a penguin could find it's way down that trail." "Bit of a problem," Dash admitted. He idly scratched his chin for a minute, trying to add it up in his mind. "Doesn't matter. I know where I can cut them off. Stay safe, kitten." Dash bounded off, realizing he'd have no time to spare, down a different path. Osbron turned to Raw Hide. "Interesting. They're not headed towards their headquarters. I take it your idea was to manipulate the Penguin Mafia into believing we're allies?" Raw Hide grunted. "I'm beginning to think it didn't work. So I say I just smash their skulls in." Catrina threw her hands up in disbelief. "BEGINNING to think it didn't work?! Lady and gentlemen, we have ourselves a bonafide GENIUS! OF COURSE it didn't work! They're the flippi' MAFIA!" Raw Hide growled at her. She growled back. Osbron decided he didn't have time for this, and stepped between the two. "Not now. I know you both to be exceptional in battle, and I'm going to need to rely on that. Raw Hide, do you think you could stir up another yeti attack on the base?" "Sure could!" Raw Hide boasted, thumping his fist on his chest. "Not even a challenge." "Without letting them know who's behind it?" Osborn added. That caught Raw Hide off guard. "Hmm, lil trickier, but why not? Be more fun that way." "After all," Osbrom assured him with a deceptive smile, "If we can make them think we're more gullable than we are, maybe we can outmanipulate them in the long run." Raw Hide laughed, and continued laughing as he made his way towards the Villa. "Whatever you've got for me, save it," Catrina begin as soon as Osbron began to speak. "I'm going after my 'former associate,' and I'm coming back with his head, if that's what it takes to stop him." Surprisingly, Osbron didn't protest. Instead, he gave her a simple nod. "I figured as much. All right, two things. You report ANYthing you find to me as soon as possible. Two, you don't take so much as a sliver of a chance unless you absolutely have to. If you so much as think about violating either of those conditions, I'll track you down myself and make sure you never set foot in the Kingdom proper again. Understand?" He planted an extra voice in her head as well. "And believe me, I will know." She turned, growling in the direction she was about to bound off in. "Fine. Although I seriously doubt I'll be able to avoid serious violence." Before he could raise a protest, she vanished into the distance, propelled by two powerful humanlike feline legs. Osbron smiled to himself as he turned to Fluffy. "Feisty one, isn't she? You're with Feena." "I know, I know," Fluffy whined, hopping off the Price's shoulder. "Hey- uh.. where IS Feena?" Osbron shrugged. "Hopefully, somewhere safe. Find her. I've got to get back to the Kingdom to send that backup we talked about." Osbron turned to start off, pausing only to chuckle as Fluffy dramatically stood on both hind legs, shot him an overly dramatic military salute, and said, "Sir, yes, sir! Yeesh. . . " He hated splitting his forces up like this, but with so many pieces of the puzzle missing, and all the personality conflicts, there was no other option. =-=-=-=-=- (Back out of character here) So as you can see, this one's a lil different. Individual goals have been passed out. It's up to each handler to decide how they go about the ULTIMATE goal - setting the Toot Oriole up to be freed. He was a large brute, with thick tawny fur covering highly developed muscles. His black mane was worn wild, to match the look in his golden eyes. The other, almost as large as the first, with not quite the build, purred as he heard this praise from the other. <Yes, ,Master- as I promised you. Just to see the look on her face as she realized who I was, as she saw me with that...that thing she calls a friend...it was PRICELESS!> THe large Feline purred in a deep rumble. <I'm sure it was! I shoulda done this some time ago! Sorry! Try not to be like me- get your mission notes up as soon after the roleplay as possible! :D This's embarrassing, as it was a fairly short, simple roleplay. Dash's on his way to do his job for the Prince, and has a change of heart, deciding to pursue Catrina instead. I'm not sure if it's made clear, but his justification might be he wants her help tracking.. although he really wants to keep her safe, if he can.. that comes through more clearly. The second half of the post is co written with Feena. Basically, Dash wakes her up, tries to piece together what happened, and goes after her, insisting Feena get herself somewhere safe to recover.. Dash presumably carried her down to his horse, Españolola, and instructed it to get her back to camp, or the Kingdom proper.. (It's a smart horse, apparently.) Dash then set about tracking down Catrina, which would presumably encompass the "Flash forward" in the first part of the mission Finale.. And that's all I gotta say about that! Again, sorry for the inexplicable, inexcusable delay on me getting these notes up.. Now the penguin's base is trashed once again thanks to the yetis. ------------- Catrina and Dash's First Posted by: Catrina The setting is what seems to be a wide African savanna. Grassland as far as the eye can see. In the distance, a baobab tree spreads its branches across the sky, a sky which at present is cloudless and blue with an equatorial sun hanging high. Our gaze pans across the plain, until we see a nearby watering hole. We see creatures here and there engaged in all forms of play. but it seems that the watering hole is unoccupied at present. Or is it? Suddenly we see ripples for in the still pool, and a figure rise from her bathing. Tall and shapely, with an athletic form the envy of any huntress. She steps ashore, her golden fur and raven hair drying quickly in the hot sun. Her gaze takes in the scene ans she purrs at her work. For this plain, this savanna is HER savanna, her Paradise- an Elysium field for herself and her children when they came to her after their toils. The Others tended to prefer stuffy old majestic halls or Gated cloud banks but she was just an outdoor girl at heart! She smiled. She even allowed the children of the Others to romp here...as long as they remembered who ran the place! She now walked over to a smaller pool, moving lithely. She lay on her stomach in front of the pool, her head propped up by her arms, her tail high her ass moving provocatively. She reached out with a claw and disturbed the surface of the pool, watching as the ripples danced- then blowing her breath across the waves to calm them. She then looked deep, and the visions she required were there! At first she looked in on each of the hundreds of Clans of her children, dotted here and there across the landscape. She made sure each was well, and helped where she could when asked- although often in strange ways.... She then narrowed her gaze to one clan in particular- the Whiteclaw Clan. She had growled and cursed the Dark Ones the day they decided to make this clan their playtoy of the moment- remembering all too well what had happened to other toys.... She did what she could within the Covenants, only assisting through others, and then as quietly as she could. She moved on...to the two of her children that troubled her mind at the moment. First she looked in on her lost lamb, Cattaras Whiteclaw. She growled at the scene she saw, the Beast of the Darkness mauling him, roaring in displeasure at the loss of his mate. If only he would see his way back to her, back to the Light she would show that foul beast some tricks! And what of his mate? Catrina Whiteclaw? She shifted her gaze and attention- and purred as she saw the vision of her child Catrina and Sebastian Dash in a bed together. "So, Good Knight. Your wily nature was no match for our Catrina's spirit, hmm?" Her jaw set as she held check on her rage as she looked at the scars on his body and hers- seeing all the hurts both physical and not. She vowed that one day she would have the Beast before her, and he would be lucky to leave without a throat! Finally, although she was not one of her children she could not help but peek in on the green vixen that had been so helpful to them today. She wondered how Fate would treat this girl, and how firmly she would be woven into the tapestry. Only time would tell.... She let the visions fade, rolling over onto her back to let her front get some sun. Her gaze took in her surroundings and she purred. "I wonder if that cute gazelle wants to play?" ------------- Feena's First Posted by: Feena Hey, It's Feena again. I thought today was going so well, right up until that Jester King of Beasts thing... (See last mission's finale) Well, it turns out that not only did I end up being bunny-napped, I also had the stuffing beaten outta me by a cat that looked like Catrina. And boy do I hurt still... That brings us up to speed with me, making my way back to Seaside and safety. Well, at least I think it's safe, we all know the problems of my home neighborhood... But that's not what I'm really talking about. I had to make a report to tell SOMEONE where Dash has gotten off to. Unfortunately, I don't think a word got into that moron's mind, he was too busy staring at my body under my torn robes... Without anything left to do, I told him off, and stormed off to find a napping place, which the clan's couch would do nicely. And that's where I'm staying for now. I better not be woken up by anyone, save Catrina or Sebastian. ------------- Vivace and Dash's only Posted by: Dash A new handler debuts!! Let's review this story in an excited, dramatic fashion. The party starts off with Vivace coming back to her inn, and meeting Sebastian Dash. (Co write.) The two basically talk for a while, and she ends up agreeing to use her 'song' (magic) to help Sebastian figure out where the Toot is. Then the two go to relax a little before dawn break. It goes on for a fair bit, though. Although some of it is just Dash's explaining what's going on, there's a LOT of information on our newcomer, who's bio you can expect to go up in the coming days. So if you want to learn more about her, it's definitely worth a read. This roleplay is set not long after Catrina's, and apparently, Dash managed to sneak out on her, after all. This won't set well with Catrina, as you'll undoubtablyundoubtedly see in a future chapter in our story... Check this one out to get a feel for Vivace! This's your 'fly on the wall,' signing out. . . ------------- Catrina's Second Solo Posted by: Catrina *Our heroine comes onto the stage* Hi! I just wanted to let you know the next story is up- and this one is great- I oughta know! Yep in this one I.... *she looks confused* And then I...*again, the confused look* Man...I..I can't seem to remember what I just did! Strange isn't it? Especially when I seem to know that it was some pretty neat stuff! Oh well...bye for now! *walks off, shaking her head. A few moments pass and a voice clears it's throat* Don't go yet! I'm the narrator guy, and Catrina doesn't remember for a good reason. The adventure this time is set in her dreams, and it's a doozie!! Catrina is set against the one beast in her life, but in her dreams he's taken on almost mythic proportions! One thing to look out for- Dash's death! This drives Cat over the edge, and she is about to have a final confrontation with Him when she is stopped by the Goddess- who reveals Him to be only a minion of the Dark Ones. The Goddess then goes on to heal all of Catrina's wounds- then wipes her memory of the dream entirely! See you later! Yeah, I know, I was just having a nice little nap and dreaming a nice dream... well, at least I think it was nice... Anyway, something told me to wake up, and it sounded like Catrina somewhat. Good thing, the Clan was a warzone. Seems the Elite Seven's JKotB was annoyed enough with us to send a strike force into Seaside town aimed right at our Clan Hall. Good thing I was there, otherwise we might've had a dead army on our hands. Anyway, I (yes, I, Feena the Priestess of the Flying Spaghetti Monster) challenged him and led him on a very wild bunny-chase through the halls of the clan. I ducked, dodged, dove, bounded and dashed through the halls, keeping him from even getting a chance to evade my attacks. Well, hard to dodge an attack when you're chasing a bunny through a narrow hallway, but that's not the point. As my endurance was starting to run low, someone, or something, threw a fireball aimed at my foe, which I had to really dodge to not get burned. That was all I needed though, because I pounded him with my new spell, Gatling Ray of Something, which I didn't even know I had. That dropped him, so I dragged his completely unconscious form out of the clan hall. That was all the Clan needed to drive the Goblins off, dragging the so-called Elite with them. Now all I have to do is find out who the heck threw that fireball, though I have a good idea. ------------- Feena and Fluffy's only Posted by: Feena Well, I know this is following hot on the heels of the previous bit of my part of the tale, but now I know where that fluffy rodent was. Yes, this is actually co-written with Fluffy himself, so it's definitely a bit of an aftermath of the previous bit of running around I did. At least Fluffy knows what's going on, now... I'm just worried about Catrina, Dash, and Toot, so I'm going off to do what I can to save Toot first. Finally Cat arrives- looking VERY relaxed and pleased with herself, her hair undone and flowing down her back to her swaying ass* mmm...Hi. Just thought I'd tell you that the new rp's up. I admit things start out a little rough- what with Dash sneaking our and all, but I meet this nice lady- a vixen who seems to know alot about me somehow/ Also I find our I've been completely healed! Seems the nice vixen lady played some music in the night while I slept and viola'! Happy kitty! Well- find out she knows of me through the man who I presently can't decide whether to strangle or... well YOU know.... Anyway, he shows up finally and I have some fun at his expense- although I think he's getting to like it! Anyway- I help her get to a place where she can do some kind of mystical Toot finding stuff- which I have NO idea of what the heck she did but it worked. We came back and He's arranged to go get Toot- with a little help. At least she BETTER help him good or I'm gonna... well- that'll be for later, maybe.
