The Rollover focused on Kadlin's side of the story, leaving this one to establish the reaction for Dash,

So we take care of that here with a quick, fun, to the point piece.

A contemplative silence fell over the large meeting room. Three battled hardened men, soldiers all, sat reading and reflecting on the intel. King MTiger sat at the head of the table, clearly still the leader of the group. Prince Blahking and General Briggs Detree sat alongside the table. Opposite sat the Space Elves; Jen, slimly suited in her red and black cysuit and on her right Raven reclined in his chair, his wings folded to the sides.

"As you can see," Blahking said after sufficient pause. "The information on Degrassi's pretty sketchy. But we're convinced Kadlin Bearsmasher has taken up residence there. I'm sure you know how dangerous the Viking mage can be. Potentially."

"Indeed, her abilities would cause the denizens of Hey Daze itself great pause, if the rumors are found to be true," MTiger added. "If the rumors of her newfound power are true."

"They are," Blahking answered, turning to the two space elves. "First of all, thank you for joining us for this meeting. What do you know of Konall's sister?"

"The Empire is hesitant to involve itself in this matter, out of respect for her brother," Jen began. She looked distracted and her answer was delayed, as though she were trying to focus on multiple tasks at once.

"We however believe that there is a... negative force acting upon the bearer of Konall's sword." Jen turned her gaze to the King to gauge his reaction.

"And thus are our worst fears confirmed," Mtiger said, folding his paws into a temple, contemplating.

"There's a few complications with the Degrassi situation as well," Prince Blahking said, nodding to Detree.

"Technically, they're voluntarily siding with the Feline Empire," Detree said. "We don't know if there's a formal treaty, but it's not going to look good to turn our big guns on them and simply try to shoot them off the map like a field mouse. Not to mention, we'd do more harm than good."

"And this is where we come in," suggested Raven. "We can travel where your men cannot."

MTiger and Blahking nodded with Blahking speaking. "Right. You're not yet publicly known to be associated with us and your technology should give you an advantage. Besides, we also think you'll have clearer judgement than some of our members might. Myself included."

"We have a subversion specialist we'd like you to meet," Detree said.

"Oh?" Jen asked. Though she knew exactly whom they meant and exactly who walked through the door. Sebastian Dash was dressed formally but instantly recognizable. He even had his new trademark, the mirror coated broadsword with him. She'd have seen it coming a mile away even without need for the ability to detect him via the nanites coursing through the unwitting dashing rogue's blood.

"Sebastian," Jen greeted. The way Jen said his name was almost exactly the same way Aleena did. If Dash took note of that fact, he gave no indication of it. "So you're on board for this? Dealing with Kadlin?"

"Let's be clear here," Detree said. "We can't afford a war with the Empire. There's no realistic situation where we engage them without making things worse for all involved. I'm not even sure why we're getting into this mess."

"We agree, a peaceful solution is preferred," Jen said.

"We might have others who will want to do their own investigating," Blahking said. "So we'd like you to look into this as soon as you can. Hopefully, with your help, Dash can stay on top of the situation."

Dash nodded and Mtiger called for a dismissal, bringing the meeting to a proper end.

Oh and we put over the danger of the situation with the glaive which is also useful. Next up are Cattaras and Becky.
