My second character debuts along with Zanther Wolf! Wolf had a cameo all the way back in the Finale of our sample mission, but I couldn't get the player to join until now. Although Wolf's only done a few spots, they're ones I'm proud we have, since I've wanted to see what Wolf can do for a while!

He's paired with the enthusiastic, youthful Becky Joy here. She has to be read to be believed! Another shorter piece like Shamus's first, but a fun read anyway.

A new day dawns on the Kingdom of Loathing, loyal AIL'ites! So get ready, because a new terrific trio is about to hit the scene, and lucky you, you get to meet not one, but two of them in the exciting tail of woods and zombies that's set to follow!

They'll face triumph, tragedy, painful lows and amazing heights by the time it's all said and done, and there's one hell of a ride left! It's a story that stretches back to the legendary war between the immature nation of Pertene and the noble Kingdom of Loathing, although it really got started when two twins were separated due to the war efforts when they were just babies.

That's their story. Our story starts in the Distant Woods and Nearby Plains with a girl and her (winged) wolf!

With it being nearly- but not quite yet- spring, Becky wasn't dressed all that warmly in her knee length otter leather skirt, and a matching patterned haltertop, complimented by vinyl boots she won as a prize for "best amateur pickaxe swinging" contest a couple years earlier.

She had a basket of berries, although we don't know what kind, because the lid's closed! We just know it's mostly berries, and that she was very careful to check to make sure they're the safe kind, but we don't know what kind those are yet. Because the basket's closed!

Anyway, she'd just ducked under a low hangin' branch, hangin' low when the sounds of something in the woods was rustling about. Becky stops her picking and starts to look around, a little worried as she has heard that werewolves and vampires were running around rampant. The sounds kept coming closer towards her and she started to worry that something was going to her, and she quickly shut her eyes tightly. Then, with a quick rustling of a few nearby saplings Becky finds herself being pinned down to the ground as a white wolf had pounced on her and was giving her a few wet kisses on her cheek.

"Oh Zanther!" She giggled. "You scared me to death!" Zanther then turned to let her up. Becky sat up as Zanther then turned to give her a piece of a bush. "What is it that you have today Zanther?!" asked Becky, curious as heck. After a moment of observation she smiles and takes the brush and gives him a large hug, Thank you for the blackberries, Zanther, these will make some excellent pies for us! yay!"

The winged wolf made a sound of approval, so Becky ran her hand over the fur of his neck. "What else you wanna hunt?!"

Wolf whined a bit. Becky wasn't sure what he meant. "You wanna play? ... no.. You want pets!" Wolf nuzzled closer to her, so Becky pet him, but that wasn't it. "You're still whining, what's wrong boy? I wish you could talk real person talk.. oh!! I know.. do you wanna play?! No, wait, I just said that. Are you hungry?!"

That seemed to be it from the way Wolf's ears perked up a bit! "Ohhh! There are some bunny rabbits you could hunt for us, then I'll cook them up if you bring them to me and they're not chewed up too bad.. would you like that?!" Wolf pawed at her, and shook his head in a 'yes' motion. "What a smart wolf!"

She stood up. He sat there, eyeing her for instructions. "Alright, let's split up, so you can hunt, and I can... hmmm.. I can head to Seaside Town! How's that sound?! We can meet here in about an hour... um.. you can tell how long that is right?!"

...Zanther nodded and then turned and looked back as he watched her head off to town. He thought to himself, wondering what should he hunt for food. Then an idea crossed his mind. He could wonder around, killing a few white snakes and maybe a bar for lunch. After he got his belly full, he was thinking of Becky and thought that he would bring her something to eat since she might be hungry after going to town. So, Zanther gathered a bunch of blackberries, (and got a few scratches from the bushes) hot wings, and few drinks. When he thought he got what he needed, he started to make his way to see Becky and brought her some lunch for Becky at Seaside Town.
