Name: Sassafras "Sassy" Snake
Personality: Friendly, opinionated and independent, she lives up to the nickname "Sassy" as well! She's a good person stuck in another dimension who nevertheless does her best to help the wounded and needy. She also has a fun side that we see come out in her stories with Becky Joy and others. She continues to heal despite a lifelong fear of blood, showing the compassion learned from her mother. Reflecting the toughness her father instilled in her, she continues to fight for what is right while avoiding killing unless she feels it is absolutely necessary. Skills and abilities: She can heal using either her enhanced music or herbs, skills honed in her own dimension at the Academy for Healing Arts. Recent news: After participating in the Elite 7 vrs. Elite 8 battle on the winning side, Sassy is likely going to continue her quest to save a fellow prisoner from a camp of thugs. Sassy herself was saved by Jarlsboris Wildfall and Todd Blackpaws not long before the Elite battle in Degrassi.
Season II so far: Sassy first became involved with AIL when the adventurers found themselves teleported to their world by the twisted manipulative Kwadlin, who planned to force the heroes to battle each other, partly through the use of drugs and magic. Sassy Snake, who made the mistake of sapping energy from the wrong tree before waking up in a strange location, prevented Sebastian Dash from finishing off an ally of Ozzie Whelk. Sassy aided our heroes in the big fight against Kwadlin. The next time we caught up with her was in the 'main' AIL world during a St Boris Day's fest (which Father Crimbo was hosting). She dealt with random thugs, met up with Sebastian Dash and helped Dash and other heroes battle slavers from Catalina. Later, Sassy heads to Degrassi to try to keep a promise to a dying Gnoll. That's where she meets Becky Joy, Becky's Goblins and the hippie Awakesun. Together, the group battles against the Queen of Hate's epic and massive card army. In the next mission, Sassy is again trying to help with wounded, but the scent of blood drives her off. She's kidnapped by slavers but rescued by Todd Blackpaws and Jarlsboris Wildfall. The two agree to help her bust up slaver camps after Sassy helps them defend Degrassi. As of this update, we're not sure what Sassy has been up to in the brief time since she, Wildfall, Blackpaws and other heroes defeated the Elite 8 after the Managers of Hey Daze retreated.

Later, the two groups meet up while battling Kwadlin's dark beasts. |
Finale 3/3 | Return to Mirrorworld | Our heroes struggle to fight against the mind controlling device of Kwadlin's minion, Konall Numberscruncher. Later, Sassy considers fleeing, but decides she isn't going to give up and run away on her allies during this battle, even though this fight really isn't hers. Also: one of Kwadlin's alternate identities is revealed. Sir Fumblies comes to a major realization. |
Roleplay | Holiday | Now in "our" dimension, Sassy stumbles upon "The Snakeskin Inn" and figures it would be a fitting place for her to relax. Instead, she is accused by a thug of taking "Big Joe's" chair and later, has to deal with another thug coming onto her. Eww! Later, on the road, she hears some music that about hypnotizes her. She tries to follow- and copy- the music, but can't, ending up.. somewhere else. |
Co-roleplay | Holiday | Sassy and Dash are reunited! Dash tries to explain this is his world and wants her to stay safe. But after he rides off, it's clear she's determined to follow Dash to try to keep him safe. Seems like Sassy has a little crush on Dash. |
Cameo | Holiday | It's more of a very brief cameo reflecting on Sassy hearing that strange music earlier. During the Finale, Dash meets up with Becky, Cattaras, a newcomer named Lalucia and others fleeing and fighting Catalinian slavers. Elsewhere, Sir Fumblies and Fahari lead a battle against the demented managers of Hey Daze. |
Finale 2/2 | Holiday | Sassy meets up with Wildfall and Summer and pledges to help them in their battle vs the slavers who are attacking the impromptu refugee camp. Elsewhere, the battle against the Hey Daze managers of 7-Eternal continues. |

She manages to avoid Big Joe's and runs into a dying man named Karrak, the Camel Nose, who gifts her a blade and asks her to tell his uncle Shava not to sell his Degrassi farm. Sassy promises to do so and sets out for Degrassi. |
Co-roleplay | Konall's Grudge | Sassy Snake meets Becky Joy! The two play a game of 'haw haw, who is the law?' and engage in random silliness while looking for Karrak. They also run into Zed, but no one's able to help Sassy find the farmer. They do find out the farms are under new evil management. Hint: It's actually Kadlin. |
Finale | Konall's Grudge | Sassy and Becky notice Sebastian Dash and a stranger (Jen) rushing somewhere in the distance and figure it might be serious. They're right, it is. Trailed by Zed, they head towards a meeting where Elite 7 lackey Mimi opens fire on innocent Gnollish teenagers. Konall, Cattaras and others join in the battle vrs. Kadlin and Kadln's backup! (Featuring Slit and Jester King of Beasts among others.) |
mention | Guild Warriors II: Machines and Soul | While helping Sebastian Dash and Cattaras Whiteclaw deal with the after effects of Kadlin's weather manipulating spell, Becky Joy casually mentions she's looking for "kitties" for Sassy Snake (although Cattaras correctly assumes Becky misheard Sassy.) |
Flashback/ Co-roleplay |
Guild Warriors II: Machines and Soul | Near the start of the mission, Sassy struggled to keep up to help the wounded Gnolls after Kadlin's weather altering attack earlier nearly destroyed Degrassi Knoll. Sassy asked Becky to bring some lichens but Becky misheard it as "kittens." Later, Becky actually brings Sassy some kittens. Becky explains she's going to help Dash deal with a slaver invasion (again). Sassy goes with Becky to help. The two (and three of Becky's Knob Goblins) set up camp and relax as well. |
Cameo | Guild Warriors II: Machines and Soul | While Sassy Snake sleeps, Becky and Goblina sneak out to trace down a stench Becky thinks is familiar! Turns out it's Becky's hippie friend Awakesun. The three battle I the Mouse, defeating him through Becky's ice powers, Awakesun's wind powers and sheer, utter disregard for proper grammar. Earlier, Goblina gets in trouble for joking about eating kittens. |
Finale 2/2 | Guild Warriors II: Machines and Soul | Konall, Dash, Zed and Fahari are determined to stop the Queen of Hate's attempt to get the "Life machine" located in Forest Village. Sassy, Awakesun, Becky and Becky's goblins aid in the epic pun filled battle against the Queen of Hate's double decker massive army of card soldiers! |
Co-Roleplay | 10 Scenarios | Sassy tries to help with the wounded again, but this time the blood gets to be too much for her. She takes off, ends up in a camp run by a bunch of thugs, but is ultimately saved by Wildfall and Blackpaws, leaving another captive female whom Sassy vows to rescue when she can. |
Finale 1/4 | 10 Scenarios | Sassy, Todd and Wildfall meet up with Becky, Cattaras, the insane Jay and space elf Glyn. Mission: Protect Degrassi Knoll. Elsewhere, Prince Blahking leads an attack on the Elite 8. Various adventurers unite with gods, pirates and more against Kadlin Bearsmasher. |
Finale 2/4 | 10 Scenarios | Sassy and her allies get help defending Degrassi against Knob Goblins in the form of the unnamable heroes formerly of the ex-Penultimate Airship. Elsewhere, Catrina and her allies join up with Dash, Sylenia and Konall on the attack against Kadlin. |
Finale 3/4 | 10 Scenarios | The conclusion to Sassy Snake's chapter as she and all her allies join the Blahking's Elite 7 against the Elite 8! Elsewhere, Konall tries to pursue his sister while Dash, Catrina and their allies battle the dark beast unleashed by Kadlin. |
