Created at Historical recap Season one started by establishing the Kingdom of KOL clan, with newcomers like the heroic swordsmaster Sebastian Dash, the impulsive catgirl Catrina Whiteclaw, and winged wonder Zanther Wolf joining established KOKOL veterans like the anthropomorphic Mtiger, Prince Blahking and Viking warrior Konall Bearsmasher. The group continued to add various new members (like the bard Todd Blackpaws and ice mage Becky Joy) as well as less official allies such as pathress-like Fahari and Aleena, a space elf queen temporarily stranded on the world of the Loathing Kingdom. Not all was well in the Kingdom. Before Fahari and Aleena arrived on the scene, Catrina Whiteclaw was consumed by her own darkness, taking over the Knob Goblin Kingdom. Several key individuals, including Becky Joy, the strategic mastermage half-orc Sir Fumblies and Konall's sister Kadlin, joined her. The Knob Goblins became the Feline Empire. While tensions between the two factions have been unsurprisingly tense, there's also been trouble in individual groups. Konall and Dash have both fallen for Aleena. Although space elves have no issue with multiple lovers at one time, Konall and Dash might. Meanwhile, Konall is determined to retrieve his former cursed sword from his sister before its dark hold on her solidifies. On the Feline Empire side, Sir Fumblies comes to feel unappreciated by Catrina despite his contributions to the group. Cattaras has also questioned the leadership of the Feline Empire. He doesn't trust Sir Fumblies either. The Story so far: Coming off a vacation week and the rebuilding of Seaside Town, events start rolling with the first mission, which sees KOKOL and the Feline Empire unite to track down multiple princesses, kidnapped during the reopening of Seaside Town! This quest eventually leads them to Honorburg, Sebastian Dash's old stomping grounds, where they search for three final princesses. They quickly run into an old Dash ally, Cyber Sunset. The princesses are soon found but things take a strange turn. Kadlin Bearsmasher goes missing with evidence that Konall was involved. During investigations, Cattaras, Catrina, Dash and Aleena are ambushed by a strange group, whom we later find out to be part of the Philler Gang. Investigations go haywire immediately, with Catrina nearly killing Dash. The adventurers explore the town, looking to get to the bottom of the attack. Eventually, they end up confronting Philler directly, but each and every one of them are zapped by a strange ray. Fumblies survives longest to find out Leo Philler is also his mentor, Kwadlin! They awaken in a strange alternate world which some of them had 'visited' during Season one's the Burning. The strangeness continues, as you'll see here. The premise of this mission has the heroes defeated in the last mission's Finale and teleported to the Mirror Dimension, where they've been injected with a drug that makes them stronger and faster but also prone to battling each other. The mirror dimension was explored in War in Seaside Town but that focused only on one town - the northern main town of Mountaincenter Village. These roleplays span from there all the way south to the near frozen deserts and everywhere in between. We also visit the dimension's monster infested island. We managed to get three new handlers debuting, plus my third player character- Wildfall, who's teamed with new handler Summer! They're joined by another new character they share recent history with- Xodus. Finally, Sassy Snake, the only player character from the mirrorworld, debuts this mission as well. Compounding that, we see the return of three characters who have been gone multiple missions but are back for this one! Ozzie Whelk and Konall & Kadlin Bearsmasher were last seen on season two's first mission, where Ozzie debut. (Not counting a small Kadlin cameo.) Zanther Wolf takes the cake, having not roleplayed since late in season one! They and several regulars make this an especially heavily roleplayed mission. There's plenty of twists and turns in this one. Sometimes the player characters battle each other. Other times, they manage to work together, or individually, to explore the world. Dash, Aleena, Kadlin and Konall's interaction with each other stands out early on. When Dash splits from the others, Konall goes on to lead a village while Dash runs into Sassy and Ozzie. That's probably half of the story for roleplaying, but while that's going on, characters debut and return, Becky Joy battles Cyber Sunset, and Xodus rocks AiL with two impressive solo acts! All this and more. Sadly, as of this writing (late in roleplaying for Season two's mission seven), it seems as if we won't be seeing Xodus or Ozzie anytime soon- and Wildfall and Summer are looking iffy, too. Nevertheless, they excel in this highly active mission. Check it out, would you? Feature characters: Konall Bearsmasher returns after missing the Honorburg related missions. Konall has made a huge impact on AIL already but he isn't resting on his laurals here. The layoff doesn't affect his performance either, as he returns in the Rollover to confront Dash. Although the two battle briefly, Konall's story really gets started when he dies- only to be revived and set on a holy quest! Konall, of course, plays a major role in the story's Finale as well. Konall is one of a few stories here that sets up the next mission as well. Sassy Snake makes her introduction this mission and she certainly makes an impression! She's a unique character who actually hails from the mirror dimension. For her first co-write, she naturally dominates most of the early story as we get to know her, only coming upon Dash and Ozzie (who have interludes to break her solo act up) near the end of it. The three get a second roleplay together, and Sassy co stars with a Dash for a third. We also meet some new snake allies of hers.

Hot 'n Cold | Aleena and Kadlin | no | Kadlin tries to bring down Aleena with a harpy and her bear form! Aleena's able to talk her into putting the fight off and focusing on Kwadlin, which is when things get... interesting is one word for it. (Light sexual humor.) |
Dying to Self | Aleena and Kadlin/ Konall | no | Before Aleena and Kadlin show up, Konall is killed by epic lizards, meets some spirits, gets some revenge, and is dedicated a hero and later spiritual leader to a nearby tribe. The summery doesn't do justice to this epic story. |
Wolf's Quest | Zanther Wolf | scents | Zanther Wolf flies around the city looking for Becky but instead runs into his mentor Shelly. Fumblies/ Cattaras: Mirrorworld 1 | Cattaras and Sir Fumblies | No | Fumblies vrs. Cattaras!! .... is quickly interrupted by a Fred and Bar- er.. a couple of 'generic' cavemen attacking. Humor piece. |
Mindlink II: Passion | Aleena and Dash | Yes | Dash's second mindlink with Aleena starts with a nightmarish scenario for Dash and ends rather passionately between Dash and Aleena, although the two also discuss the tactical situation and agree to meet at Mountaincenter Village. |
The Duel of Frozen Flame | Becky Joy and Cyber Sunset | No | Cyber Sunset dumps a bunch of spare napalm (explained inside) on a forest full of bugs, not knowing Becky and her new friends are there! Becky protects the family and mistakes it as a deliberate attack. This ends up with Becky vrs. Sunset- but he doesn't want a needless fight! |
Summer and Wildfall back together again | Summer and Wildfall | no | Summer and Wildfall argue, fight and split up, irritated in part over the drug. They end up reuniting to battle a large lizard with chainmail armor, a sword and a shield. They make short work of it before Wildfall mentions a settlement he'd spotted in the distance. |
INTERLUDE: Kwadlin's secret plans | NPC's | no | An interlude. Kwadlin (Philler) is in the Loathing dimension, so to speak, stirring up trouble. A Private Chat | Ozzie | yes | Ozzie and Hudson 'sneak off' for a private chat. Hudson doesn't trust Dash nor Sassy. Ozzie's too smart to trust her, too. Hudson lets it in she's playing up her character to make people underestimate her. |
Sir Fumblies: Return from Monster Island | Sir Fumblies | Flashback | Fumblies finds himself on a ship, heading to Mountaincenter Village. (Cattaras is on the ship too but not seen.) Cattaras and his dimensional duplicate don't get along, and the fight with the Ireacans, Becky and Sunset nearly comes to a head before cooler heads (not Becky's) prevail. The three groups assemble to take on the dark beasts- but in the end, Kwadlin and his lackeys get the drop on the heroes! |
Finale III: In the clutches of Kwadlin | Dash | n/a | Kwadlin has the 'heroes' stunned, unable to move. Kwadlin's also employing a couple 'traitors' to the cause. The 'heroes' have to get past Konall Numbercruncher's psychic control device in order to wage a war of attrition. With forces falling on both sides during the massive battle, who'll be the last one (or group) standing? Twist ending! |
