MISSION INFORMATION Here are the out of character mission information and RP Notes on the Finale Season 2 mission! It also doubles as both the last part of the last mission's finale and the rebirth of AIL, leading to season 3. The notes are a bit sporadic though. And once again, there was no voter for the mission so there's no points added. MISSION INFO
Mission notes for Grand Finale 5/5
Pieces missing notes:
I did a Mission notification instead of offering a proper Rollover story. Let's start by opening up roleplaying and getting our character stories started. You can focus on your personal stories, and/ or tackle the four remaining problems listed above. For the time being, though I want to keep them open. Meaning, I don't want to have any of the major scenarios flat out solved yet. Once we get rolling, we can talk about solving some of these issues during roleplaying. Later on. I'll start a thread for discussing this all on the boards as well. Roleplaying is now open. I plan to keep it going indefinitely while we figure out how we'll eventually wrap it up. I want to keep roleplaying open for a while and give people a chance to drift back into the game. Let's go out there and work toward a proper grand ending for AIL. (Or, if circumstances dictate it, a rebirth.) Wa.8m.com/AIL - updated with Guild Warriors II. I'll try to get Return to Hey Daze archived there soon, too. She manages to save Todd Blackpaws before recovering her weapons, plus a kidnapped girl, from some thugs who had kidnapped Sassy and the girl in a previous roleplay. Sassy takes out a few thugs on her way to saving the girl.. next up, more flashback'ing with Todd and Wildfall, probably! Since we might very well be doing missions in the future, and since this one has a real shot of being finished, I figured I should go back and do notes on some of these wonderful roleplays. Mostly featuring Dash. Snake in the Bushes is set before the Elite 7/ 8 battle. Sassy and her snake-friend, Serpentina, discuss the safest route for Sassy to take. Her reptilian friend (not a furry (scaley?), an actual snake) tells her of a relatively safe path behind the hills. Sassy agrees to take it. Set shortly after that is Camp Sassy: Sassy spies a fox, where Sassy is looking for the girl she wants to rescue. Instead she runs into the Blood Empire camp, where she meets up with Cattaras, Wildfall, Tus and Todd. Near the end, Todd tries to flirt with her. There's a brief interlude for Dash: The bleak battlefield, where Dash deals with some of the aftermath of the last mission's second and third finale parts. Dash takes on the Heckions, thugs from Dash's old stomping grounds of Honorburg. Dash deals with them mostly off camera. Finally.. In Sassy's Answer and A Garden., Sassy shoots Todd down then ends up finding a garden, where she shows Todd the dangerous throckle fruit, among other items. She shows him how to open it without dying a painful gruesome death and the two bond. She also worries about her own death, but Todd tries to set her mind at ease. Oh, and Wildfall is only here for the very start of this, so.. Go figure, I guess. It SHOULD BE the last flashback roleplay for the three, since they set out towards Degrassi for the big battle in the last mission's finale. "Path to Philler" - Sir Fumblies and Bandit make their way through a portal and have to sneak past a giant baby which they do, thanks to the ghost in the armor of Sir Fumblies. Kwadlin is on the other side, holding Fahari prisoner and using her for... something. "Task Force Virtue Part 1" - Dash is teaming with his ex, Katlana and her current Jake. (They are from Honorburg, Dash's former.. you know by now.) They run across and aide Catrina Whiteclaw, who had been fighting alongside the pirates against Honorburg villains. Catrina and Katlana don't get along.. at first. Not til they team up with the boys to fight off Muri-dan. (Not the Trinity.) "Task Force Virtue Part 2" - With the battlefield mostly cleared, Aleena is able to contact Sebastian about the Glaive being successfully tossed into a black hole. However.. something weird happened when it did. And now.. something very weird is going on at the crumbling Sorceress's tower! Wildfall and Ninja's two-parter (Clowning around) - Wildfall and the ninja prince sneak around and battle a clown. (After the prince talked about wanting to make his way to Clown Rock.. ironically.) After the heroes win.. they find themselves surrounded by several chanting clowns! That's it! More to come.. Can you believe this mission has gone on almost a full year? Wow. (Note: Yeah.. he really does see that. We'll explore what it means very soon.) "Sassy and the Lonely Troll" - Sassy tries to befriend a troll named Belinda. Rayvon thinks its a waste of time and proceeds to be a pain in the butt about everything thereafter. Sassy renames the troll Linger. She gets to know him. Oh, and the two set up camp. And Ryavon is still a PITA. "Reunion!" is the piece where SpaghettiGirl debuts, helps some NPC's from an old Sassy Snake roleplay, and the helps Becky who is now recovering from a concussion. SG makes Becky promise to rest. Becky promises to buy them lunch later before they go searching for Cattaras. The swaggerful Dread Captain Waldo tears off more than he can chew when he tangles with an epic airship. Season 3 should start tonight or tomorrow, if I can get the Rollover together and get stuff up. A little history for those of you who need to be caught up. Season 2 was originally going to end- and be the final season of the game- in 2013, when the voter got very busy and I'd become ready to move on past AIL. Sadly, though, my father died at a time where I was already struggling with AIL. So the last mission didn't get finished until 2015, when I decided to turn the fifth part of the Finale into mission #10.5. I started the next mission, but roleplaying didn't really get started until August. We really felt alive in August and September, and the voter said he was ready to vote for us again. But that won't start into season 3. Since there was no voting for our last two missions, the Season 2 totals are basically what they were as of Return to Hey Daze. Here they are without commentary! Get ready for Season 3, everyone! Congrats on us for our first two seasons! J/ Wilde
